Perfect for the LUMiLiFE range. The LED Transformer Driver is used to power low voltage 12v LED bulbs and strip lighting. LED bulbs require a constant voltage to work properly. Sometimes a normal 12v transformer will work correctly with LED bulbs, but in some cases the lifespan of the bulb will be reduced. Dimmer compatible. This driver allows dimming of constant voltage LED products using conventional TRIAC dimmer switches such as trailing edge or leading edge which in the majority of cases means you don't have to have replace your dimmer switches. LED lighting does require Trailing Edge technology in order to dim. Please contact us if youre unsure on your dimmer switch compatibility. What transformer do I need. You need a transformer that can power the total wattage of the strip or bulbs being used. For example, if you plan have 2x 5W MR16 LED bulbs that total 10W, you would be recommended a 20W transformer. 20% of the transformer capacity needs to be left over to prevent overloading. Please contact us for advice or assistance if unsure how to proceed. 3 year LUMiLiFE warranty. On selected LUMiLiFE products, we offer an automatic 3 year warranty. This entitles you to unlimited replacements from the original purchase throughout the warranty period. If your original purchase is no longer available, a new replacement with the latest equivalent model will be offered. Product dimensions. Height 60mm Width 180mm Depth 35mm
